How Sehitak Protects Your Data
Sehitak collects only the information needed to create accounts, book appointments, manage medical profiles, send notifications, and process supported payments securely.
Information We Collect
We may collect your name, phone number, email, role, appointment details, doctor profile details, uploaded medical or license files, wallet transactions, and payment status references.
Payments and PayMob
Online card and wallet payments may be processed through PayMob. Sehitak does not store full card numbers or sensitive card authentication data. Payment confirmations, transaction references, and payment status may be stored to complete bookings, wallet top-ups, refunds, and support requests.
WhatsApp OTP
We use WhatsApp messages for verification codes and account recovery. Verification codes are temporary and should never be shared with anyone.
Data Security
We use HTTPS, password hashing, CSRF protection, secure cookies, and database-backed remember tokens. Sensitive files should be accessible only through authorized flows.
Your Choices
You can update your profile, change your password, log out, and request support for correcting or removing data where legally and operationally possible.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Sehitak, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, patients, and registered doctors.
Use of the Platform
Sehitak is a healthcare booking platform that connects patients with verified doctors in Egypt. You may use Sehitak only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not misuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to any part of the platform.
Account Registration
To book appointments or access doctor features, you must register an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
Doctor Verification
All doctors on Sehitak must submit valid credentials and undergo an approval process before being listed. Sehitak reserves the right to suspend or remove any doctor profile that violates platform rules or provides false information.
Appointments and Payments
Appointments are subject to doctor availability. Payments processed through the platform are subject to the payment provider's terms. Sehitak is not liable for payment disputes outside of platform-initiated transactions. Refund eligibility depends on the appointment status and doctor's cancellation policy.
Medical Disclaimer
Sehitak facilitates appointment booking only. The platform is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice. All medical decisions are solely between you and your chosen doctor.
Limitation of Liability
Sehitak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Sehitak after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes where possible.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Egyptian courts.
